Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Andrey Chsherbakov, the operator of consiousnesscenter.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information. The Site is operated from Washington State, United States.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to visits to the Site, comments, messages sent to us, and voluntary financial support made through links on the Site. External services such as Stripe, PayPal, YouTube, and Facebook have their own privacy policies and independently control information collected on their websites.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, optional website address, comment text, and information included in emails or other communications.
- Payment-related information: when you use an external Stripe or PayPal payment page, we may receive your name, email address, payment amount, date, transaction status, and transaction identifier. We do not receive or store full card numbers or bank account credentials.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, date and time of access, security events, and server log information.
- Site searches and preferences: search terms entered on the Site and functional cookie preferences, such as saving comment details if that option is offered and selected.
3. Comments and public information
When you submit a comment, the displayed name and comment text may become public. Your email address is used for administration and moderation and is not displayed publicly. Technical information may be processed to prevent spam, abuse, and security threats. Comments may be held for moderation.
Please do not include medical records, mental health diagnoses, therapy notes, private contact information, or confidential research information in comments. Information published in a public comment can be read and copied by others.
4. How we use information
- to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- to display and moderate comments and prevent spam or abuse;
- to respond to questions and communications;
- to administer voluntary support payments and maintain accounting and transaction records;
- to comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of visitors and the Site.
5. Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the Site, including Hostinger for hosting and related infrastructure, WordPress software and compatible security or moderation tools, and Stripe and PayPal for payment processing. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce Site rules, or protect rights and safety. Information may also be transferred if the Site or its operation is reorganized or transferred, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Payments
Payment buttons on the Site link to payment pages operated by Stripe or PayPal. Payment credentials are entered directly with the selected processor. Their privacy practices apply to information submitted on those pages. We receive only the transaction information made available to a payment recipient and use it for payment administration, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance.
7. Cookies and online tracking
The Site may use cookies or similar local storage that are necessary for security, administration, language selection, and comment preferences. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling necessary cookies may affect some features.
The Site does not currently use advertising pixels or intentionally track visitors across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. Because there is no universally accepted technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site may not respond to such signals. Our practices remain as described in this Policy.
8. External links and media
The Site contains links to external websites, including payment and social media services. When you follow an external link, the destination service may collect information according to its own policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
9. Retention
Comments may remain available while the related article is published unless removal is requested or moderation requires deletion. Correspondence, transaction records, and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were collected, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal or tax requirements.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled by the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that you have provided, subject to identity verification and legal recordkeeping requirements. You may also request removal of a comment. Send requests to iccr.usa@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and within any period required by applicable law.
12. California privacy disclosure
The categories of information collected, purposes of use, and categories of service providers are described above. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may contact us using the email above to request information, correction, or deletion where applicable. We will not discriminate against a person for making a privacy request.
13. Health and research information
Public comment forms and general email channels are not intended for medical records, mental health records, therapy notes, or confidential research-participant information. Please do not submit such information through these channels. Any future formal research project that collects participant or consumer health data will provide a separate privacy notice, informed-consent materials, and any additional choices required by applicable law before collection begins.
14. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
15. International visitors
The Site is operated in the United States. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when Site features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be presented prominently when appropriate.
