Andrey Chsherbakov

I am Andrey Chsherbakov, author of The Phenomenon of Consciousness Outside the Body. Questions about human nature, consciousness and the meaning of life have been part of my life for many years.

I studied at a theological academy and served as a pastor for ten years. Later, I earned a qualification in civil engineering. My professional life has been connected with construction for twenty-five years. Today, I live with my family in Washington State, USA, where I run my own construction company.

At the age of thirty, I began having conscious out-of-body experiences. They raised questions that I explored through personal practice and careful reflection on what I had experienced. I spent fifteen years studying these experiences before deciding to speak about them publicly.

In 2020, I wrote The Phenomenon of Consciousness Outside the Body, sharing my journey, observations and conclusions. My research continues today: each new experience offers a reason to revisit earlier questions and explore them more deeply.

I created this personal platform to share the experience I have gathered and my reflections on consciousness and its possibilities. Here you will find my essays, videos, book and materials on out-of-body practice. The fuller story of my personal journey is told in the book.
